Completion date: October 6, 2017 Location: Charlottesville, VA These are the calls that get us moving quickly. These are maintenance clients and we had finished our first heating season maintenance just a week prior. Mrs. N called us because the existing Carbon Monoxide monitors in their home were signaling. She asked us for recommendations and to return to take a look. We asked Mrs. N if she had any symptoms associated with CO and to open the house for ventilation. We headed right over and found the monitors sounding. As a precaution, we brought one of our low level carbon monoxide detectors also. When we checked the existing monitors we determined that all were sounding because it was time for replacement. The manufacturer programs them to sound after 7 years to signal replacement - the tone of the alarm matched the description and the date of manufacture also matched the 7 year period. Why did the customer contact us?
Solutions provided:
We calibrated and installed the two new low level CO monitors we had on our vehicles and left them with Mrs. N. We have more monitors on the way and will return to install a third monitor to protect every level of the home.Team members on this project:
