Completion date: June 15, 2017 Location: Charlottesville, VA Travis called because of no AC and ice forming on the suction (large) refrigerant line. He turned the system off the day before our appointment. On arrival we arrived to find signs of a frozen indoor coil indicative of a low refrigerant charge. The system is an older heat pump using R-22 refrigerant. Because of this we recommended an after market injectable leak sealant as part of adding refrigerant to the system. We also cleaned the indoor and outdoor coils to provide the best heat exchange and airflow possible. We confirmed proper charge and informed client that the system is in triage and would likely need replacement sooner rather than later before returning the system to service.Job completed for Travis T.
