Completion date: November 21, 2018 Location: Charlottesville, VA Client contacted us for a furnace randomly not heating, which of course started as they were headed out of town. On our first visit we found the furnace board displaying a fault code for a stuck pressure switch. On reset, the furnace functioned properly. Through several cycles we could not replicate the problem. Several days later, the problem we recurred so we returned with a replacement pressure switch. We calibrated the switch with a FieldPiece Digital Pump Manometer to factory settings and returned the furnace to service. As part of our normal check-out protocol we ran the furnace through several safety checks to ensure proper operation and checked several areas of the house with a Carbon Monoxide detector to ensure no gas appliance was off-gassing into the home. For the record, all checks were perfect.Job completed for Kathy O.
